Does art have to be beautiful?

No, it doesn't have to be beautiful. Everyone should define what beauty means for him and everyone will define it differently. The definition of beauty changes over time. Art is an outcome of artist's thinking, creativity and imagination, which does not always have to be referred to in terms of beauty. Art doesn't have definition. For everyone it's something else and everyone will have different opinion about it. But it doesn't have to be beautiful. It can be interesting, funny, clever.
